Honolulu and Beyond....

Our "E Komo Mai" tour is our most popular, circling the island and seeing the best of the best with some little secrets along the way. We would be happy to customize our route to include any destinations such as a Pearl Harbor or museum visits, or adjust our start/end times to suit your needs.

E Komo Mai - The Circle Island Tour

Your day begins right at your doorstep, cruise ship, or airport where your guide will be waiting with an immaculate 2011 GMC Yukon XL with seating for 7 plus luggage. Koa Lani offers complimentary all-day beverage service of Hawaiian juices, spring water, and soft drinks.

Throughout the tour, your guide will be there to provide expert insight into the little-known history of the area, its lore and legend, and assist with any of your needs.

Private Tours in HawaiiAs we follow the sun, we pass through lively Waikiki, the majestic Diamond Head Crater, and the illustrious Kahala neighborhood with its lush gardens and stunning mansions.

After that, it is the open-road through the coastal O'ahu countryside with stops at O'ahu's premier snorkeling spot, Hanauma Bay, the Halona Blowhole, and The Valley of the Temples, all-the-while passing by orchid, banana, papaya, and macadamia farms, and the best views of the ocean and mountains.

Along the way, there will be opportunities to sample real local produce, fresh-caught fish, and even a snack at the local favorite - the "shrimp trucks", as seen on Food Network and The Travel Channel.

Passing the Kualoa Ranch, famed for its horseback riding, and location of many Hollywood films such as Jurassic Park, and 50 First Dates, you can marvel at Hawaii's Monkeypod Trees, with canopies growing up to 100 feet in diameter, and take in the sweet smell of ginger flowers, banana trees, and plumeria.

Koa Lani Private ToursIt must be about noon, and we must be getting hungry! A Koa Lani tour includes a delicious lunch at one of our favorite seaside restaurants featuring local ingredients and dishes to suit all tastes.

After lunch, we proceed to explore the world-famous North Shore of O'ahu - The surfing capital of the world!

Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay (and its incredible botanical gardens), and the Banzai Pipeline host winter waves up to 50 feet (16 meters)! Winter visitors will get to attend the world-class surfing competitions and watch the best of the best ride the monster waves.

We will stop at Laniakea a.k.a. "Turtle Beach" for an educational visit to see real wild sea turtles in their natural napping place on the sand. Great for a photo op, and an up-close and personal introduction to some of O'ahu's oldest residents.

Our final destination on the North Shore is the sleepy, yet vibrant surf town of Hale'iwa and its surf shops, boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants.

From the North Shore, we begin our journey back to Honolulu - this time, through the agricultural center of the island.

With dramatic views of the sun kissing the Waianae volcanic range, we will spend this time surrounded by coffee and pineapple fields, with a stop at the Dole Plantation.

Hawaii Private ToursOur day will finish with a visit to the only royal palace in the United States - the Iolani Palace - seat of the Hawaiian Kingdom. In the area of the palace, we will also see the Kawaiahao Church, built in beautiful black coral, the Queen's Bath, and the Royal Buildings, after which you will be dropped off back at your hotel or airport, with memories of the perfect day in Hawaii!
